Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks
Rye — USA
Reviewed April 28, 2019 (edited May 4, 2019)Light golden in color. Smell is a earthy like white mushrooms as well as notes of white sugar. On the pallet is smooth with a slight wood taste with notes of fresh cut grass but pretty weak on the pallet. Finish is nothing much to write about just fades quickly. I will not be buying another bottle of this IMO. It maybe a good daily drinker or to introduce someone to bourbon. I had it neat. -
Dark Amber in color. The nose is strong honey and vanilla with a fresh oak scent. You need to let this high proof bourbon sit before doing nosing it much less tasting it. The palate give you full bodied mouth feel viscous, peppery and sweet. The finish is a little astringent and hot, but quick to dissipate. Not as good as how it smells or tastes.80.0 USD per Bottle

Four Roses Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Small Batch Bourbon (2017)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 29, 2018Wow. the nose on this is amazing. A bouquet of flowers initially followed by honey and caramel. Keep in mind this is after letting it rest for about 5 minutes. Packed with flavors of camel, honey, hits of oak. tastes sweet in general. This would be your special occasion sipper. Definitely one of my top five. I paid through the nose on this one, but it was worth it. Tried it neat.599.0 USD per Bottle -
It is very smooth for how strong the proof is with a mile burn at the back of the throat (aka. Kentucky hug). The palate is not as deep and complex as I would like. It has the standard bourbon tastes, but for the price of roughly $50. It is worth it. This would be a good daily drinker in my opinion. I tried this neat.50.0 USD per Bottle
