So sweet, too much so. I feel like I’m drinking a rum here. The oak nose overpowers. As does the heavy cherry flavors. It’s a strong bold flavor profile, just not for me.

Very light front end, lots of butter. The finish has a little burn, but just enough to keep you sipping more. Very easy to drink, the finish lasts a while. Isn’t as big as the 45 abv would lead you to believe.

Incredibly smooth, but full of flavor. It’s a lighter whisky, a little sweet, no smoke at all. Little slice on finish.

Surprisingly underwhelmed. It has heat to it. At thiss price point, I was expecting more. Stagg jr was very similar at a much lower price point. Will try again, maybe another year.
