Tastes

Nose: citrus, pear, apples, brown sugar, orange zest. Palate: brown sugar, apples, raisins. Finish: medium finish, brown sugar, raisins.

Sweet caramel corn nose. Sweet palate with notes of apple, vanilla, butterscotch, and chocolate. The finish lasts a while predominantly influenced by the wine finishing.

Alcohol and citrus nose. Smooth buttery taste. Medium short finish.

Nice sweet nose, caramel, vanilla, honey. Tastes like a weller pick. Sweet wheat. Excellent pour.

Great nose. Standard MGP. Honey. Very sweet. Medium finish.

Excellent single malt flavor. Crisp notes of apples and butter toffee.

Nose has strong port notes, coffee, chocolate, bacon. Initial palate of port wine, developing in to the whiskey. Initial finish is not my favorite tasting of cereal from what may be lower quality whiskey. Very end of the finish gets better with lingering notes of black cherry.

Great bourbon, however varies from barrel to barrel. Very typical of Heaven Hill. good buy at the old price. with it pushing to 45, may stick to Elijah Craig.

Young whiskey. Interesting "smoked" flavor.

Nose is representative of a cheap blend. Not a lot of flavor. some influence of sherry to help mask the age.
