Tastes

This is definitely another level compared to your average store bought whiskey. Had just the right amount of heat with a well balanced and deliciously rich and opulent palate. Really tasty stuff. My favourite drop so far in my short lived whiskey journey.

A smoother version of woodford reserve. It lacks the warmth and complexity of a truly great bourbon but is very enjoyable and drinkable. A lovely summer drink when you don't need the warmth. Getting oak, caramel and vanilla on the rocks. A crowdpleaser for sure

Delicate and light with ripe apple and vanilla on the nose followed by walnuts and a fruity sweetness on the palate. This is definitely a lighter, cleaner whiskey that is very smooth but has enough going on to keep it interesting. I prefer it neat to really unpack the flavours.

A warming bourbon with vanilla , oak and a lingering aftertaste. Quite harsh and astringent but keeps you coming back for more as it's balanced out by well rounded sweetness.

Delicious when had neat. Love the vanilla, caramel and wood spice with just a touch of smoke. A whisky I could see myself coming back to. I've just started getting into whisky so don't have much to compare to but off to a good start. Will be interesting to see what my thoughts are once my palette continues to develop.
