New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bottled In Bond
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 23, 2025Great treat for the holidays. Spicy, much like Wild Turkey, but just a little more than that (WT is fav). Bought a bottle of it for a bourbon tasting event and no one was disappointed with it. For the price point, will definitely purchase again35.0 USD per BottleYankee Spirits -
Just finishing this bottle. Took me a while to finish. Bought 9 months ago and first pours had sweeter flavor, but then half way through the bottle the sweet flavors started to fall flat a little. It's not a bad bourbon, but not sure I'll get another bottle. Toasty butter toffee taste that sticks to the tongue and pallet. Decent spice flavor to let you know it's got some zip to it. Finish falls off quickly, doesn't last long, but is respectable given the average ABV at 46%. Strange thing about this bottle is the cork shrinks so it gets loose which probably keeps air into the bottle. So as the bottle gets towards the end, it's no surprise why it starts to fall flat some after 9 months. Put a tighter cork in it! Great thing about this bottle is I purchased it on clearance for like $44, normally goes for like $70.44.0 USD per BottleKnights Liquor Warehouse

Broken Barrel Reserve Oak Series Finished with Peach Brandy Staves
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 7, 2025Difficult to describe neat. Nose is subtle hard oak, little dark fruit in there, some leather, earthy, hint of peach. Pallet is spicy, leathery, definitely oakey, peppery (cayenne), oily, not much of peach influence in the taste, definitely high proof burn on the front and back of the pallet, even down the esophagus. Finish is sort of unbalanced, lasts a while with spice/pepper burn with a little remnant, very little peach flavor hint that lingers on the roof of the mouth. Tinny almost. With a small melted ice cube. Little caramel cones out, but still oakey. Only thing sweet about the nose, is the very faint peach fruit influence (barely). On the pallet, with an ice cube, there's some floral notes on the pallet. The water introduces a terpentine like flavor, slightly metallic. High proof burn is spicy, peppery and strong. Not gonna lie, it's gonna take a while to finish this bottle. Not a subtle, overly flavorful pour that screams i can't wait to pour another. This was my Friday night pour after not having a taste all week, was hoping for a little better profile for the cost of $55. I'm a strong amateur, but there's better $55 bourbons on the shelf.55.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More -
Meh, i was expecting great flavor from this Wheated Bourbon, but for the price, can't complain. Nose is fair with baking spices, shift wheat and maybe cinnamon/vanilla. Taste is spicy, hot cinnamon, wheat and not too much more, little oakey. Finish falls off fast and doesn't leave a memorable impression. For the price ok, but probably will be better as a mixer in an old fashion or something. Heck of a price at Bottles in East Providence! Get it while it's cheap, wouldn't pay more than $25.20.0 USD per BottleBottles Fine Wine

1792 Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 9, 2025 (edited March 18, 2025)Drank on New Years Eve and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Nose is mild, sweet, spicy and warm. Taste is sweet, chocolate with dried dark fruit flavor, vanilla and cinnamon; not harsh at all. Good proof at 50%, which meets the expectation for a BiB. Finish is medium, lays a while with warm hints of molasses, chocolate and banana while keeping the proof punch going. Was real easy to sip, can't wait to go at it again!37.0 USD per BottleYankee Spirits -
Interesting nose: fruit, oaky and a little floral, with a sweet vanilla hint. Taste reveals an earth tone with a spicy cinnamon and darker fruit flavor. Finish is medium, lasts on the pallet for several minutes. Oddly balanced drink, perhaps the age makes the balance off a little? It's a decent pour for the price, but doesn't make me scream for more.36.0 USD per BottleYankee Spirits
