Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 25, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)This is killer. The taste keeps building long after the sip goes down the hatch. This should be a must buy for all bourbon drinkers. -
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 18, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)I’m trying a single barrel that Urge in San Marcos, CA had bottled exclusively for them. Nose provides nice vanilla hints that you’d expect with a bit of tobacco. The texture is super thin, almost watery. While the finish is super short, it goes down without much burn and is most definitely oaky in nature. -
Weller Special Reserve Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 16, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)In preparation for Michigan vs. Montana, I poured a couple fingers worth of Wellers SR. Vanilla and caramel are the first notes I smell/taste. Light burn on the way down. Overall, a solid wheated bourbon. -
Old Grand-Dad 114 Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 11, 2018 (edited September 22, 2018)Crammed with flavor. First sip is full of spices leaving a nice sting on the back of your tongue. After giving my glass a few drops of water, I get a vanilla hints strongly followed by spicy pepper. Big fan of OGD114.
