Hot and young, the rice sweetness shines through, but it’s thin and incomplete. Needs more time in the barrel. Glad I tried it at half price

Light, sweet corn, lacks complexity, easy sipper at $20, but aged at 6 yrs apparently I’m feeling it. Not stocking shelves but I’d return to it from time to time.

Lots going on, good gamut of flavors. I taste the youth that I’d expect to be gone for this aged scotch. Figgy and warm, raisins, oak, Christmas. Better out there at this price.

Refined and mellow, character and intrigue. Splinter group has got it together try their others as well. Smooth spices, light wood, sweet and corny. My jam

Sweet nose, spicy cinnamon and clove, on the initial taste , but smooth and refined.

Very drinkable, lacks complexity, could use more age but that would increase the price. QPR is good for this entry level scotch. Enjoy neat or with a single cube, but don’t get carried away. It will work as a filler in between the more refined options. It’s a scotch that wishes it was a bourbon, the spicy heat of an American bourbon with just a puff of smoke to let you know it’s a scotch. Buy <$30

Outstandingly soft and refined. Sweet, honey, mild spice: neat only please. Not like other bourbons that are aggressively spiced and oaky. If you enjoy wine this is a nice cross over to whiskey.

Delightfully smokey and smooth. Oily with Warm lingering peat smoke, a pleasing spice hangs on the tongue but doesn’t overwhelm. Iodine and medicinal notes are apparent. If you like islay scotches, this is a nice value buy under $40. Limited edition...stock up

Super smooth, baked apple nose, not overly fruity. Thin and really nice. Low abv no burn the age did the trick, faint oak at the end. Great intro whiskey for a noob.

Sweet nose of cereal and corn. Sweet up front with spice on the front of the tongue. There is a floral note in there but I can’t pinpoint which. Oak is mild to medium and I’m surprised how smooth this went down. Not the complexity of a bourbon, no nuances or hidden surprises, but very enjoyable. I’m reminded of a simpler Jefferson perhaps.
