Smells hot, youthful and sweet. Opens with a punch of spice and oak, lingers and the oak rolls around the tongue. A tin like aftertaste develops from the oak. Clove and vanilla are in there, but nothing complex about this one. Needs more time to develop, much better bourbons out there for the price.

Weller Antique 107 Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 23, 2018 (edited November 2, 2018)Sweet nose of banana bread. Initial sip is hot and spicy as expected, but the mid palate is where it shines. Raisins, cinnamon, vanilla and plenty of oak. Tingles the tongue, but is still a bit aggressive and lingers on exit. Plenty of heat, maybe a dash of water would help, but might mute the flavors. Oily and spicy- not something I would crave.25.0 USD per Bottle -
