I have been cruising through a few bottles of Black Label so this was a very very special treat. Incredible single malt. The smoke is delicate yet present. It rolls through your mouth smoothly and syrupy while it hints at a beautiful fruitiness. I cannot wait to journey through the rest of the bottle.

There is a sweetness in here that I am not a fan of - almost cotton candy?? Anyone else? I will try again soon

Better than Dewars White Label or JW Black Label in my opinion. At $21/bottle I will happily sip this so I do not run through my good bottles.

Amazing complex flavors, smokey without being peated. All of the Islay funk that I enjoy. The 50% adds a wonderful bite. I am in love with this scotch

Everything I want to like in a Lagavullin but can’t because I am not yet a big peat fan. This is a great compromise between Islay and Speyside. Cannot wait to get further into the bottle.

Beautiful maritime scotch.

Delicious scotch, nice and mild with sweet wood notes. I wish this was bottled at a few percent more but it’s a mainstay at my house
