Grangestone Highland Single Malt Bourbon Cask Finish
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 6, 2020 (edited November 8, 2024)Pleasant but not overpowering bourbon character. I’d buy it if it was cheaper than Glenfiddich 14. -
Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)
American Single Malt — Colorado, USA
Reviewed January 25, 2020It’s more interesting than I expected. Funky like a lowland scotch. Wonderfully viscous mouthfeel. Great example of American Single Malt. -

Glendalough Double Barrel Single Grain
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed January 8, 2020 (edited January 12, 2020)Very interesting Irish whiskey. At certain points it tastes like single pot still, other it tastes like a more grain-based spirit. The oak character is a bit overbearing for my liking but very pleasant with sherry and vanilla notes. I would like it if this whiskey only saw one barrel and stayed their longer.
