Tastes

I want to give this 5 rating, but I just cannot call it perfect. But for the value, this tastes so much more complex than its $$ price tag leads one to anticipate. The nose is floral and fruity. Taste is rich, but vanishes fairly fast. Honeysuckle, cherry, woods, green apple.

Speyside Scotch notes and flavor - albeit, on a very watered-down level. Light on the pocketbook, but want some Scotch... well, this may be your ticket. Won’t blow your mind, but it also won’t blow you wad.

I was so excited once I inhaled the aroma. It hinted at some hidden peat and smokiness... the taste however, was a bit of a letdown. I see this as a nice starter, or great aperitif that leads into a dinner with some spice.

Nose has hints of vetiver and orange zest. Palette is a bit harder to pin-point, but on the tail I’m finding a strong sense of golden raisin. If I didn’t know this was from Tullamore, I certainly wouldn’t have guessed it.
