Tastes

There is SO much delicious smoke and campfire here, in the nose and in the taste..it's wonderful. It smells like when you're camping and trying to start the fire..before there's fire.....but it tastes like every part of a campfire. Very smooth and also once you get passed the smoke, you do get a small raisiny, tobacco finish. I just keep going back for more!

Nose: Like you're eating breakfast at a B&B on the coast of Scotland. Sea spray, rubber, vague honey. Taste: Salty sea beach taste in the depth of the mouth feel with subtle sweet notes in the back. Very acceptably strong punch at first but the more you drink it leaves thirsty for another sip.

Definitely smell and taste a lot of delightful spice and cinnamon. Vanilla and fruit are more in the background for me. Very nice finish.

Just so smooth and delicious. It's definitely in my top 5 best whisky's to share with someone new to scotch. It is just such a solid whisky.

There are so many things happening with this whisky. It's very complex and full. The nose is both sweet and a bit musty. I've never smelled such a complex whisky before, so this one was a treat. It was very full and almost crowded in the taste with fruit and deep flavors and a bit of smoke to finish the delicious wholeness. Very smooth but distinct as well.

This is terrific! Wow! The nose smells like a carmel apple sucker and hints of a warm apple pie. The first couple sips were very sweet and tremendously smooth. It slowly goes from sweet delicious sour apple, to spicy cinnamon coating your mouth. Once my mouth was coated in the delicious spicy cinnamon..each sip was sweet carmel apple and finished with a fantastic spicy finish. 100% recommend!

Very nice spicy taste, one of the most interesting spice esq whisky's ice had. With the nutmeg and cinnamon flavors I always get, I have affectionately named this whisky"the Christmas whisky"!

Todd is very nice and smooth even at 50%. It's very lovely but with a nice bite.

This is just plain smooth and delicious.
