For those who enjoy bourbon this is an easy sipper and lovely to relax with after a long day. I’ve always enjoyed this since first trying it a good number of years ago. Whether enjoying neat or on the rocks I find I can never go wrong with a dram of Buffalo trace

If you like the 16 you should like this one as well, whilst not quite as refined or rounded as it’s 16 year old sibling it still presents a bold and Smokey flavor. Keeping in mind it has had half the aging of its sibling I personally think it stands up very well as a young Islay. I purchased this on offer and i am still debating it if would be worth it’s usual asking price. 3.75/5
