hard caramel candy on the nose, peppercorn or maybe peppermint in the plate, finish like bittersweet coffee

Thai peanut sauce on the nose, with a bitter/spice combo on the palate.. finish was brief and light, like caramel. would recommend

from the jump this had great taste, caramel, spice, sweet and bready.. smell was like pumpernickel bread.. finish lasted a bit with caramel and spiced cider flavors I’ve had 3/4 of the rabbit hole line and I’ve really enjoyed this one and the Dareringer (the Heigold was good but the price point ruled it out for me for now) if you’re looking for a good brand to invest in, this is it. But the price point ($50 where I am) is steep and between this and OF Rye for $20 I’m choosing the OF

first sips of the first pour was like drinking dry air.. no flavor on the mouth and the finish vanished immediately.. BUT opened up a lot after it breathed for a bit, sweet with a hint of spice, vanilla, no bite at 95 proof I really wanted to like this, and i do, but i don’t think it’s worth the price point (just over $60 where i am) personally, it would be a competitive bottle for me in the low $30s

one of the sweetest bourbons I’ve had.. brown sugar, honey, maple.. all of that.. definitely an easy sipper

Maple and caramel through and through.. great story behind the distillery, would recommend

Crispy, applewood smoked bacon on the nose.. smoke heavy on the front of the palate with a little brininess on the backend.. kind of like salty roast pork on the finish.. i like it and would recommend it for scotch drinkers who favor smoke forward with a hint of brine and douse their carne in salt

toast, orange zest, with some heat.. both this and the 46 are good..
