Tastes

I honestly had a hard time tasting anything with this up front. From the nose to the finish it was quite light but as i continued to sip i got hints of cinnamon and black pepper maybe? Just a bit of fruitiness to it, maybe like a spiced apple.. interested to see how this is on future pours but intrigued for now

sweet, easy sipping, no burn which is par for 90 proof.. i like it, not enough to spend double for it on secondary though

Strong vanilla on the aroma, first sip was great with the bite from the Proof and tasted like what a fresh sanded piece of wood feels like.. after letting it sit was where it got really good.. something like sweet/salty caramel on the finish.. not my first choice at this price point but definitely pleased with the purchase

wasn’t a fan at first but after letting it sit a bit, tasted like French toast but like the waffle crisp cereal version.. which i love. Enjoyed it, glad i have it, but probably would choose the barrel proof for $10 more at this price point

almost like straight maple syrup, i enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it
