Smells of honeydew and sweet cereal (reminds me of frosties). Initially tastes like vanilla cake, with honey and a citrus-y lemon or lime coming through at the finish.

It's fine, easy to drink. Smells of honeydew, taste is toffee and malt with a slight hint of smoke. Very approachable, no burn, not too sweet and not too smoked. I've made it sound bland, which it isn't and now I'm rambling. I'd buy a bottle and happily share with friends and family.

Smells of rum and sherry, with a sweet note I can't identify. Tastes of dark chocolate, cherries and a slight woodiness. The finish is toffee and walnuts. Opens up well with a drop of water

This is such a shame, as the Hibiki 12 year is fantastic. This NAS is a pale imitation. Smells of apple and honey. Tastes of oak, strongly of honey and a citrus-y orange. Develops a caramel flavour with time sat in the glass.

Heavy sherry influence on the nose, almost a Victoria sponge coming through. Tastes of vanilla, caramel and more sherry. Hint of cider, almost. Had oak and cranberries to finish.

On the nose, cherry, sugar, orange peel and a hint of chocolate. Tastes of sultanas, oak, amaretto, dates and chocolate. Lightly smoked on the finish with more of the chocolate flavour.
