Tastes

It's not a bad bottle for the price, but evan at only $25-35, I'd rather pay an additional $20 for something with a better flavor. That's not to say this tastes bad, just that a nice scotch or irish whisky has much more character. Ultimately, you're buying a really nice american whisky... but it still tastes like an american whisky.

Great taste for the price point.

This one just wasn't for me. I'm sure it's a quality whisky, but I found out the hard way that I'm just not (currently) a fan of very peaty whisky. If you like peat, this will be right up your alley, but if you don't save yourself a few bucks.
