Stone fruit, Christmas pudding, mulling spice. A little hot for what I like; might have benefitted from a little more time in the initial cask (the finishing impact is fine as is)? Still, a great holiday treat.

Hands down my favorite bourbon of anything you can reasonably find off the shelf today. My go-to elixir when BBQing over hardwood coals. Oak, corn-sweetness, spice and vanilla while being enveloped by pit smoke - my perfect evening. Now in search of the 17, or any cask-strength version of this ...

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star qua the proof; too easy to drink and wish it were a bit more intense. Easily the most drinkable Irish I own (and thank you Pub32 for introducing me to this).
