Craigellachie 17 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed February 14, 2024 (edited February 15, 2024)Quite simply , a most pleasurable taste experience. The nose,to me is red candy apple, quite fragrant and inviting. The pallet, exquisite., with a gentle wood start, then a crescendo into a little nuttyness, bold ly brown sugary oak, then quickly simmers ta gentle green apple back of the tongue. What a wonderful taste journey.LCBO -
Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 4
Single Malt — Islands , Scotland
Reviewed February 9, 2024 (edited February 15, 2024)(Sorry, cask strength) What an amazing nose, aromatic creamy buttered nuts with a little vanilla, taste blows up on your tongue with a mouthful of different heavenly flavours. A deep earthy caramel citrus peel then hits pretty hard with the abv, but it’s quite pleasant. Finishes quickly, with a warm lingering faint butterscotch sweetness. There may be an oh so faint smokiness, but it’s so far away, and that’s nice. Worth a taste, for sure.150.0 USD per BottleLCBO -
Cragganmore 20 Year (2020 Special Release)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed January 13, 2023The nose is refreshingly original, Carmel citrus and a Lorie fresh cut wood. The taste is adventurous, deep yer light, slightly vanilla and slightly pitted fruit. A rich classy lasting finish, but not heavy or thick.Wyoming Library -
The nose I get is a salty Oceanside barn, lightly clean smoked and a little leather. There’s a bit of sweet fruity, almost apple slices in half. The first so hours you with a warm spicy sweetness, and a much more pronounced smokiness, but that quickly leaves you with a sweet lingering spicy heat on the tongue. To me it’s got some life, there’s a lot going on here, like different chapters in a good book. Distinct taste chapters with a lasting conclusion that lasts long after the book is closed. An interesting taste experience, worth a try.Wyoming

Quite aromatic, saddle, honey, a tad fruity and fall-field, nose. Taste hits with a sweet flagstone firepit smoke, with slight caramel. A delightfully long smokey finish that is quite satisfying and pleasant. The nose to taste to finish transition is bold, not subtle, but it really works.Plympton-Wyoming
