Fruity and sweet at the nose, with hints of fresh herbs. In the palate, the tropical fruits, herbiness and sweetness remains, as well as an aptly désignés freshness. Not overly complex, but still and interesting dram, especially for people not enjoying the peaty or smoky whiskies.

The nose is spiky and smoky, with hints of pepper. The mouth is full of bacon, peat, sea salt and more pepper. The finish lingers in sweet peat. It is an excellent scotch, a better version of the very good Ardbeg 10 yrs.

With its dark colour, it is a variant from the usual 10 years old from Talisker. The effects of the Amoroso sherry casks is strong on the nose, with hints of smoked bacon and candied fruits. The mouth, on the other hand, is spicy, oily and smoky, with a bit of pest. The candies fruits make a comeback here, and the finale lingers in notes of smoke. It is a rich, seeet and salty scotch very well deserving of high praise.
