Smooth, caramely, nice spicy rye finish. Great rye for the price.

Peaty and smoky yes, but don't let that fool you. Superbly balanced, with vanilla and caramel on the nose, some spice and cinnamon mid-palate, and a smooth lingering finish. I'm biased as this is my absolute favorite scotch, but it's more than just peat. This scotch has it all

Completely unimpressive rye. Finish is pure alcohol, with a sweet and fairly boring first sip. Good for cocktails but not solo.

Tastes like tequila

Call me a homer, but I love this whiskey. It's sweet and the finish is minimal, but it's so delicious - a little wood to go with a little spice - that I can't help myself. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but I haven't found much I like more at this price point.
