This is a good one and could be great, depending on the price point. I’ve bought it for $33 and $50 and that $17 makes a big difference in the value and proposition for this bourbon. It’s an overall good sipper but not worth the hunt or $50+ price point.

Good but not worth the hype. I enjoy Buffalo Trace mashbill #1 and their products but it’s often a challenge to get their bottles at msrp. This is a good bottle at msrp but not worth searching for, especially when there are a lot of great bourbons at this price point.

A good taste for the price point. I’d suggest using it for an old fashioned but it’s got some character and flavor worth exploring

Well balanced with a slight kick and slow burn. I’ll be coming back to this for cocktails and sipping.

Complex, fruity with a bit of peat. A nice change from the many overly peaty single malt scotches. It has a bit of additional color in the palette and is worth coming back to sip from time to time.

Full of flavor with subtle nuances and fruit undertones. A great rye for a nice price.
