Tastes

The nose was interesting. Both uncommentable and curious. The feel was kinda runny and watery. The taste went from sweet to a slight taste of Scope in less than 10 seconds. The aftertaste was grainy, seaside with a hint of ethanol. While certainly unique, this one ain't my jam. I gave it away (minus 1.5 oz) to my nephew to dilute with a brown carbonated refreshment.

September 2024 Bottling It is one of the most unique expressions of bourbon I've ever tasted. On par with Rowans Creek. The nose hints at the flavors your mouth is getting ready to deliver. The mouthfeel is kinda oily. The corn flavor is only faintly evident but unique. The hug is brief and passive. Really well done.

Sweet, soft and gentle but not much character.

Pleasant. Not much of a nose, sweetness covers your tongue, after the swallow comes a quick series of bitter oak, orange peel then pepper. There is nothing after that...flat, plain and yet I try it again, and again.

Funky grapes on the nose, mildly sweet on the palate, turning to a salty brine of young high rye whiskey. Long dry finish with an unpleasant ethanol burn.

Well that disappeared fast!
