Opened for about a week or so, had two pours when opened. Reviewing with one pour in a lowball after sitting for 5ish minutes. Nose: pink bubblegum and perfume. Not very enticing to me. Probably one of my least favorite whiskeys on the nose. Palette: little bit of pink bubblegum initially, goes into a smooth caramel and vanilla. Very oily feeling. Finish: more bubble gum and then ethanol. Overall good, not my exact cup of tea though. If you like sweet whiskey then this is for you.

Nose: caramel, ethanol, a slight hint of oak Palette: caramel and pepper. Not what I expected at all. The peppery bite is all on the tongue, none on the throat. Not as smooth as the Lot B. Finish: pepper lingers for a small while with a hint of oak. All in all a good bourbon, was glad I got the chance to try it. Would I pay the ridiculous secondary price? Absolutely not. It'd be a good sipper if you could find it.

Nose: Caramel and spice, a small amount of apple. Palette: caramel, spice, maple, and a hint of mint. Hard to pick put. Finish: strong spice on the tongue that lingers for quite a while. Overall a solid mid level sipper, if you like spice. Very different from other Weller's. It would be a decent go to if you could actually find it for retail price.

Woodford Reserve Distillery Series Double Double Oaked 2018
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed July 9, 2020 (edited July 14, 2020)Nose: Pepper and honey Palette: Lots of oak and pepper. Creamy and very full bodied. Finish: Light pepper and oak finish that lingers for a bit. Zero bite, very smooth. Notes: Definitely my favorite from Woodford and up there with my favorites overall. Love the full bodied flavor. I typically like a bite, which this lacks, but I definitely don't feel like I'm missing anything. This will always be on the bar cart. -

Black Ridge Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 19, 2020 (edited September 15, 2020)Subtle flavor on draw, bite comes late and lingers for a short while. Not a ton of flavor over all. Not great, not terrible. Probably won't pick up another.
