Would never buy for myself but as a gift it was the best blended scotch I ever had. Opened it when the Cavs broke the Cleveland Curse. Incredibly balanced and more peated than I expected. But the price is absurd. I'd rather have a Laphroiag for $50 hands down.

Harsher than it's black brother due to the bonded abv, but a great mixer if you want to get there faster on a budget.

You get what you pay for, but for $13 this is the go to mixer. A little boozy up front, with a sweet, slight oak finish. Spend $3 more for the bonded white label if you can, but that one is still a mixer just at 50%. Single barrel Evan Williams at $30 is for bourbon lovers. The best value for drinking neat bourbon.

Good middle of the road highland. Sweet and fruity with a minor hint of smoke at the end. If lower scotland styles are your thing, but you want a bit more flavor without much complexity this is your bottle for $30

I prefer Laphroaig, because it's less acidic and has a stronger peated aroma

It's a clean, simple, slightly sea salty scotch. I was hoping a highland scotch would be a bit peatier and complex.
