Definitely get a honey and lychee nose. I get honey and a bit of citrus on the taste. Medium finish with some vanilla oak.

Sweet caramel, sweet vanilla, and candy red apple nose with a sweet toasted caramel, sweet vanilla taste. Medium toasted caramel and dark chocolate finish.

I was lucky enough to try this by a good friend and it was awesome! The 50% doesn't show on the nose and the tasting notes are smooth considering the higher abv. Definitely robust but, sweet sipper.

I think this is definitely an underrated whisky from Suntory. Just because it's under $30 doesn't mean it's not a good whisky. I think I might have to stock up on them before they become the next Yamazaki or Hakushu and skyrocket in price.
