Jack Daniel's Eric Church Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee , USA
Reviewed December 7, 2020 (edited March 6, 2022)Bananas? You best believe it. Smells like bananas. Taste... no, but it taste darn good. Definitely my favorite JD so far. Would by another 2 if there was inventory left. Some burn, but once ice mellows it, its a good sweet drink that dissappears too quickly.49.99 USD per Bottle -
Well... my first Johnnie I purchase for myself. Before then I've only tried Johnnie red lable. Not a big fan of the Red.. its got some weird taste i cant describe. This 18 Johnnie is actually decent. Has a slight hint of Red lable weird taste but smother and more appealing. Not bad. Would i buy again... maybe..... Tatse very similar to Buchanan's 12 yo (Had them back to back). Except Johnnie was a bit more mild in the flavors, little bite, bit more of a black pepper ish bite to it. Decent. Money well spent... yeah... id say so. $70 is a good price for it. Nice looking bottle.70.0 USD per Bottle

Wow, super nice. Very faint on the nose. Taste... well its amazing. Light flavor of something sweet. Way to easy to drink with a very very little burn towards the end that does not show up again. This Glen is such a good drinker with mild tame flavors and no bite right out if a new bottle. It dangerously too easy to drink. Im going to keep this for when good friends show over or special occasion. Im a newbie, so no complicated review of chocolate, molasses and used socks blah blah blah. It should surprise non whiskey drinkers, if not, you need new friends. At $90, I would definitely buy again.89.99 USD per Bottle

Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 5, 2020 (edited October 16, 2020)Ok, I live in Utah where the state does not rip you off in price. So I get these for $59. So I don't have to pretend it taste amazing because of paying over $150. This is such an amazing easy drinker. I can keep pouring in my glass over and over again. Very little burn, great flavors, no spicy pepper stuff, just smooth flavors and longer through. There's a reason why its hard to find.59.0 USD per Bottle -
Old Fitzgerald 9 Year Bottled in Bond (Spring 2020)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 3, 2020 (edited November 21, 2020)Ethanol smell lingering for a while, some faint vanilla and oak. A little bland at first followed by some mild spice and then a flavor that I can't make out yet but it makes it hard to truly enjoy. I will see what happens when the bottle is at half way. But so far, not a flavor deserving of the price point. Came back to it after a month. Well... it actually taste decent now and that ethanol smell is almost fully gone. Bottle is a little more then half full and I guess some air has dramatically helped with the flavor. $90 ... well... it is a nice bottle. I always keep learning. Give the bottle some time to breathe and the taste might surprise you. (Still waiting on my Yamazaki to taste better )89.0 USD per Bottle -
