Nose is beautiful with smooth peaty smokiness and a hint of sweetness. Palate starts with strong smoke, old cellar wood and molasses. Finish is long, spicy, and incredibly smooth. The best Japanese whiskey I have tasted to date.

Nose is an interesting combination of smoke and sweet, which is the best part. Palate is a strange mixture of funky cake with classic peaty flavors that don’t blend well together. Finish smooth and sweet. I wouldn’t buy for this one again, but John loved it!

Nose is woody and sweet. Palate is classic bourbon sweetness with a slight bite but not harsh for the proof. Great finish with notes of spice, nuts, and a long oaky finish.

Nose is spicy and hints of candied fruits. Palate is rich and smooth, strong cinnamon and sweetness mingled with vanilla, woody notes late. Finish is long with lingering spice and more candied fruits.
