Lagavulin 9 Year (Game of Thrones-House Lannister)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed October 17, 2019 (edited October 18, 2019)Nose: despite the young age, peat is not so upfront. Dried fruits, butterscotch, some hints of banana and citrus peel. Palate: Smoke, peat and brine at first, which last for the whole time spent in the mouth. Vanilla, caramel and citrus peel just after. Finish: medium lasting sweet finish. VERY long lasting smoke. Worth it? I'd say yes. A different take on Lagavulin. Does not reach the complexity of the 16 YO, but is pretty balanced. Much sweeter.58.0 EUR per Bottle -
Dingle Single Malt Batch No. 3
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed December 5, 2018 (edited September 19, 2021)Just killed the bottle. Time for a review update! Very sweet whiskey. The nose is candied fruits, a hint of cinnamon and oak. Palate: sweet and pretty smooth, considering this is a young whiskey. The finish is medium-lasting and really solid, where you get most of the port cask. Dessert whiskey.80.0 EUR per Bottle
