Spicy rye. Hot cinnamon. Very interesting but not sure if it’s my thing.

I do get a sweet oatmeal & raisin profile. Nice earthy feel with the Irish influence. Very clean.

Classic bourbon notes. Pretty clean with a good “hug” for a finish. A little spice from the rye that you feel in the nose, but definitely not trying to hurt you with any of the burn. Pretty good. Unfortunately I tried four roses higher end stuff first.

Very earthy flavor. Sweet dirt. :) real smooth just not my favorite. Full. Clean. Just a fraction of a difference below makers 46.

I get a hint of green apple with the rest of the traditional bourbon notes. Taste & nose match well, full feel with consistent sweetness. Small spice in there as well. Good little hug that subtlety slides in at the end. Good. Very good.

Bottle has been open awhile. 2nd taste. Much fresher nose, I get a sweetness but I’m picturing yellow flowers or open fields. Smooth feel, easy swallow, but loongggg finish that packs some spice on the front of your tongue and gum line the longer you held it in your mouth to begin with. Feels young, tingly, & pleasant. No “Kentucky hug” and no harsh burn.....less sour than I remember. Still say it’s a very good change of pace. Non tradition but good.

Very good nose, candied aromas. Worth it just for the sweet smell. Full feel, tingly on the tongue. No burn. Easy sipper. Good standard.

Wow. Such a good profile for the price and the proof. Heavy alcohol nose, great flavor and smoothness for the proof. Really like it!!

Batch 29 Sour-ish nose. You can tell it’s a little young, interesting butterscotch smell after you get through the alcohol. Definitely has a wine characteristic. Full & sweet. Finishes clean with a touch of warmth. Good change of pace.

Great nose. Warm barrel with smooth vanilla & caramel. Full & complex. Feels like it’s about to have a huge bite of spice and a burn but does the complete opposite and proves to be very interesting and calm. Flavors remain classic bourbon to match the nose. Very solid.
