Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 16, 2019 (edited August 29, 2019)Very sweet and basic. Good sipping, however, wouldn’t search to buy. Basic regular in shops -

Still a great price, nice aftertaste and great story behind it. The charred notes are very noticeable just as "fire" casks would be

1792 Full Proof Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 10, 2017 (edited October 20, 2017)Full Bodied, Many Flavors and Rich. Excellent choice for a quick drink. I would let it sit about 1 month after the 1st drink to let it open up and oxidize . I prefer the 125 Bulleit Small Batch Bourbon slightly better. Still a great choice with an amazing price of $43 -
I was debating on giving this a 4 Star but re-thought my past taste of Rye and overall experience. The taste upfront is a bit immature, however, it's elegant in respect to its mint aftertaste. It's not overpowering but rememberable. For the price, is perfect especially since it was on sale at $22. It's not quality but rather quality on ice. Don't water it down with too much with ice as 1 cube is enough.
