Reviewed April 8, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Nose: wood, butter, vanilla Palate: spice, sweetness, vanilla, heat from the alcohol Finish: very long, hot, spicy, sweet A small amount of water mellows a lot of the alcohol heat. I prefer it with water. More complex and smoother than Wild Turkey 101 -
Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 8, 2018 (edited April 24, 2018)Nose: sweet, oak, vanilla, cinnamon. Palate: sweet, vanilla, spicy. Finish: medium length, sweet, spicy, oaky. Adding water tames the spice a little and makes it less rich. It is better neat. Overall it is a really well rounded rich and complex bourbon. My new favorite bourbon, and it’s under $25! -
