Tastes

On the nose: very nice light floral notes, huge vanilla and currant. Even across the palate. Vanilla comes through and cherry. Nice spice tobacco finish almost coating the mouth. Really good!

Cinnamon, apple, and rye on the nose. Spice comes through on taste and maybe a little caramel. Rye heavy and too far forward on the palate for my liking. I prefer more sweet.

Very rich and complex. Alcohol on the nose with spice. Carmel, toffee, a bit of cherry. Heavy rye shows up and a surprisingly smooth finish. It lets you know that it is 100 proof on the tongue but in a good way.

The alcohol comes through heavy on the nose, but I get cherries and some spice. The taste stays even across the palate. Not bitter. I get black cherry and with spice and a oak finish. A bit of still water opens the flavors up more.

High corn content on the nose. A corn whisky beginning with a lot of wood and some earthiness. The Bordeaux does come through on the finish but I expected more. Worth a try for being complex but I feel it was over aged in the oak.
