GlenDronach Original 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed July 15, 2018 (edited September 20, 2018)At first opening this bottle I was not a fan but letting the bottle sit for a couple weeks it has mellowed together. When first tasting it seemed like the flavors didn’t work well together. Not the flavors have molded together into something silky. Nose: Vanilla, Apple, spice. Definitely influence of the wine cask finishes. Taste: Vanilla sweetness, malty fruits, light spice on the finish. This reminds me of a darker American single malt. Would definitely keep this one on the list to have again just a nicely put together whiskey.65.0 USD per Bottle -
