Old no 7 made smoother, calmer, less vibrant. Makes the banana cake and wood come forward and spirit to the back. Less vibrant but it suits the banana cake feeling quite well. A good dram.

Favourite go to reasonably priced accessible peated delight. Nose is lovely crisp, fresh, dry peat and smoke, seaside and oil, fresh fruit, mint and malt. Hangs around and finishes soft. Super nice.

Really great. Smoke, ash, peat, oil and tar. Think I prefer the 10yo, this one is sharper and less of forest and moss. Great anyhow.

Decent HP, some sherry, all right, I think the 12 year is better.

This is good! Although I think the problem for me was too kind and short. And then some herbal thing that I wasn't too much into. A solid product nevertheless and I will explore Mackmyra even more!
