A delicious Mastiha without the sweetness! This is a wonderful expression leaning towards a Gin-like spirit versus the traditional liqueur profile. It is fragrant with a pleasant intensity while remaining light enough to be enjoyed on its own or on ice, it can still handle some careful mixing.37.15 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More

Just sipped the last drop and this is the best bottle of Japanese whisky that I have had so far! It is rich and sweet yet elegant and balanced. At 43% ABV, it has good presence yet remains smooth. Unfortunately, the price tag is not as pleasant but, it was definitely worth it.214.99 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More

A Japanese vodka made from… You guessed, white rice! Seriously, this is a very good spirit, smooth with a palatable complexity, lightly sweet and sippable. It’s clearly not the purists style of vodka but, that’s a different story, just like the “shochu” comments. The value for price is good although that could depend a lot on how you intend to drink it.33.99 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More

Good old Green Label never fails… Yes, it’s Johnnie Walker so, take it (and judge it) for what it is. It’s a good blended malt whisky for when you just want to have a drink without too much scrutiny. If the “value for money” is not right for you, then try looking for a single malt at that price point that matches your preference.76.13 USD per BottleThe Liquor Store
