Nose: Brown sugar, caramel, woody, vague fruit notes Palate: Fairly light and quite sweet, vanilla, banana, oak and a touch of chocolate Finish: Medium, char, oak, slightly spicy, lingering sweetness Overall: Solid American whisky, far from exciting but it does the job and for the money you can't really complain, decent enough for a budget neat pour.
-
Nose: Subtle, vanilla, honey, touch of a floral note, ethanol Palate: Mild, orchard fruit, vanilla, honey Finish: Short, vanilla, slightly bitter Overall: Simple and inoffensive but it's a bit lacking in character, it's similar to the Jameson flavour profile but thinner and just not quite as enjoyable to sip on, personally I would recommend buying a bottle of Jameson or Bushmills over this if you want a budget Irish.
-
Nose: Peaty, campfire smoke, seaside air, honey, lemon zest Palate: Sweet then spicy, vanilla ice cream, ginger, lots of pepper, oak, vague fruitiness Finish: Medium, pepper dominates and then slowly gives way to a gentle smoky sweetness Overall: A tasty dram that's very satisfying to sip on and quite distinct in character, I really love the peppery note, gives it a proper zing and it's balanced out with the sweetness and the citrus.
-
Nose: Vanilla, citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, dried fruits, slightly floral Palate: Creamy, stewed fruit, apples, plums, vanilla, chocolate, almonds, oak, cinnamon, pepper Finish: Medium, spices and fruits stay with you and the oak slowly develops along with that creaminess Overall: A gorgeous whisky that is fairly light and friendly but still interesting, the blend of spicy, sweet and fruity is excellent here and goes down a treat, definitely recommend it. I'd love to try the cask strength at some point.
-
Nose: Sweet, Vanilla, Apples, regular Jameson aroma with added touches of chocolate, coffee and the tiniest hint of roasted malt Palate: Sweet, Vanilla, Honey, Creamy, Chocolate, slightly more full tasting than the original Finish: Short, lingering vanilla and oak with a creamy, chocolatey accent note Overall: Worth buying at its cheap price point so you can have a slightly darker tasting Jameson but I do wish the stout cask would have influenced the flavour more as I find only very slight differences, good to have on rotation though.
-
Nose: Sweet, Vanilla, Honey, Apple, classic Jameson nose but with an extra hoppy citrus note Palate: Light, Sweet, Vanilla, Honey, Lemon, Grapefruit Finish: Short, lingering vanilla and citrus with a hint of oak and a very subtle beer like finish Overall: Very similar to the regular Jameson with only subtle differences but it's a nice change of pace even if it is only slight changes in aroma and flavour.
-
Aroma: Peat smoke, wood char, sea air, slightly medicinal, sweet vanilla and lemon Palate: Fairly hefty, smoky, peaty, a little bit earthy, honey, vanilla and some vague fruit notes that I can't quite pick out Finish: Medium, peaty and medicinal with lingering sweetness Overall: A classic Islay that is a must try, it's an excellent dram that strikes a great balance between the sweet and fruity flavours with the harsher smoky, medicinal and char notes, lovely stuff.
-
Nose: Sweet, vanilla, honey, red apple, ethanol, simple but pleasant Palate: Soft, sweet, vanilla, honey, lemon cake, little bit watery Finish: Short, vanilla and citrus with a mild oakyness and the slightest bitter note Overall: Good for beginners and also a good option for a daily sipper, cheap, drinkable and quite tasty even though it lacks a bit of depth, solid whisky.
-
Nose: Honey, oak, toffee apple and vanilla, almost a slight smoky note but not quite Palate: Sweet and spicy, cinnamon, pepper, apricot, apples, cherry, caramel, slightly watery Finish: Short to medium, lingering cinnamon, apples and cherries Overall: A tasty dram but it's just a shade thin and I personally would like it to be a bit fuller, still thoroughly enjoyable though. I'm looking forward to trying the A'Bunadh at some point if this is their entry level whisky.

Nose: Quite complex, vanilla, cherry, plums, toffee, pipe tobacco, apples, floral and a light peat smoke Palate: Full bodied, honey, apricot, raisins, rich sweetness and some spicy cinnamon and nutmeg to balance it out Finish: Medium to long, oaky, spicy and some lingering honey sweetness Overall, stunning whisky and fairly reasonable price, would happily buy again
