Tastes

Chocolate milk on the nose. Kicks in with a bit of bitterness on the palate, reminiscent of coffee or espresso. Finish is smooth but leaves a slight bitterness reminding you of the stout notes; great if you like dark beer.

Very sweet on the nose, palate and finish. Almost like a smooth less sweet rum with a few more rye-ish complexity. Nuances are a bit overwhelmed by the rum notes unfortunately. A bit strong on the rum even though I like drinking rum too.

Apples and cherries on the nose with hints of orange zest. Continue with mostly apple and slight caramel on the palate with dried cherry. Finish turns into a sweet almost menthol cherry cough drop (in a good way) with hints of barrel spice.

Notes of sweet citrus on the nose, very light. Continue with a bit of smoke and indistinct (to me) fruitiness on the palate. Finish is sweet and extremely smooth. Easy to sip on. A bit lacking in direction.

Hit or miss for me. Either delightful candied walnut but mostly harsh ethanol on the nose. A bit more consistent on the palate, very rich and smooth with notes of toffee. Finish becomes almost a mix of the richness toffee with ethanol to me. Decent for the price.

Light on the nose with hint of sweetness and oak. Light and sweet on the palate like cotton candy with a kick of lingering rye spice.
