Tastes

Batch 4. Very sweet caramel aroma. Some spice. Cinnamon. Flavors are right on. But that’s where the wood comes in. During the aftertaste even more so.

Aromas of wood. Cinnamon. Peach. Cooked apples. Flavors fall in line. Extra wood and cinnamon on the finish.

A good rye. Some spice. Lots of wood. Not too sweet.

Aromas were tough to pick up. Wood and grain alcohol for sure. Peach? Or is that my brain telling my nose what to smell? Apple and vanilla. Flavors are there. But it’s hot. Hot. Hot. Tough to get around this 115 proof. Fruit cokes through the heat nicely. Still apple and (maybe) peach. But it’s sweet for sure. Then. It’s. Guess… HOT!
