A nice blended whisky, with enough complexity on the palate to keep things interesting. On the palate I get honey, apricot and a bit of smoke. A nice dram, but nothing mindblowing. Note: I drank this from a 5CL tasting bottle, which was part of the Johnnie Walker Discover Collection.

Double Black is basically the regular Black Label, but with a bit more smoke/peat on the palate. In my opinion it doesn't differ that much from the regular Black Label; an easy-drinking smoky whisky, but nothing mindblowing.

Of the Johnnie Walkers, the 18 Year is the one that personally appeals to me the most. It has a creamy, butterscotch-like palate with notes of dark chocolate, which ends with a hint of peat. Easy to drink, but has enough complexity on the palate. I can definitely see myself buying a 70CL bottle of this. This may be an unpopular opinion, but for me Johnnie Walker Blue Label is just... fine; a floral and sweet whisky with a nice subtle smoky finish. A pleasant sip, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a bottle of it. Note: I drank this from a 5CL tasting bottle, which was part of the Johnnie Walker Discover Collection.

For a whiskey under $20, Old Grand-Dad 80 is surprisingly good. It's a high rye bourbon which is quite spicy, peppery and sweet. On the palate I get sweet corn, brown sugar and cinnamon. It actually reminds me a lot of the regular Bulleit Bourbon. Not that unique and complex, but highly drinkable.

One of the better Single Malt whiskies for me. It's a nice balance between a Speyside whisky and a Bourbon, though it isn't as viscous as most Bourbons. Solid stuff, though I feel I'd like this one better with a higher proof.
