Tremendous balance of peat smoke over soft herbal notes. Nice oil coat on the tongue followed by a warm white pepper finish. The finish doesn’t linger as much as it slowly fades from memory. Leaving you lovingly reaching back for another dram. *Given the rising price of Lagavulin 16 (thanks Ron Swanson) this is my preferred & available Islay for the money.

Soft peat and brine on the nose. Slight chloraseptic taste on the front end. Easy finish that has the Islay brine and a hint of mint feel on the back of the throat. The perfect everyday sipping Islay.
