Let sit for about 3 minutes. ⏲️ 👀: Pale sunlit gold like the morning sunrise; 👃: Stonefruit and honey water sweetness with a little wisp of smoke on the back end, can definitely taste the delicateness of it; 👅: Minty fresh taste in the front end with a floral sweetness on the back, the smokiness returns at the very end but doesn't overpower at all; 🏁: Beautiful, floral finish that doesn't last so you can go for the next sip, definitely lighter in smoke than the Islay but smokier than the regular Scotch/Japanese whisky. Very beautiful.

Let sit for about 5 minutes ⏲️ 👀: Foggy brown-orange hues with not much legs going on, just noticed that the cork is synthetic (🤷); 👃: Some funkiness going on that I can't place right now, smells real fishy for real, cinnamon wafts, though this is 114.4 proof there isn't much evidence of strong alcohol going on, strawberry jam?; 👅: Can taste the port barrel influence here at the outset, thick like baking soda, baking spices and abound at the end, really dusty like you just walked into a desert storm, despite being finished in port barrels it isn't that sweet; 🏁: Not too lingering except for the baking soda taste so your palate should be clean by next sip. Not too complex. Great for mixing. Reminds me of a stronger Sazerac.

Let sit for about 5 minutes ⏲️ 👀: Deep orange-ish sunset hues, hardly any legs (due to high ABV); 👃: Heavy rye influence with pungent funk at the outset, Creamsickle whiff (no I'm not a fan of those lol), strong pepper notes at the middle, hints of baking spices (nutmeg) at the back end, lastly toffee hit at last sniff; 👅: Menthol hits you hard at first sip, strong pepper and oak at the palate to the tongue, cherry coke fizz at the end; 🏁: Lasts awhile and doesn't let up, but the funk gives way to a smooth toffee lick at the end. Awesomely complex. ❤️🥃

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Light, pale honey; 👃: Smoky notes that are not that intense, gives way to more fruity expressions reminiscent of classic Balvenie, butterscotch at the end; 👅: The intense smokiness and briney Islay only lasts the moment you sip, gives way to a lighter smokiness that then gives way to light apricot, stone fruit and tropical (pineapple) expressions; 🏁: At the end, the smokiness comes back but ends up a wisp, and lingers for a bit until the next sip, complexity is evident.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Orange hues with a little viscosity; 👃: Citrus rind notes, wisps of smoke, a little apple orchard; 👅: Smoky hits at the outset, gives way to smooth butterscotch and vanilla, with a little dark chocolate to finish it off; 🏁: Not too lingering, smooth finish with hints of smoke at the end. Not bad at all for an entry-level Scotch.

Let sit for about a minute. 👀: Pale goldish notes, stuck to my plastic solo cup (sorry, didn't bring my Glencairn); 👃: Typical Scotch with some oak notes and a little apple orchard in there, a little vanilla bean; 👅: Very sweet notes abound with the oak hitting at the back end, a little alcohol also; 🏁: Sweet lingering flavors all around and it lasts until the next sip (hopefully you didn't take shots with this one)

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Orange-Golden hues, tears on sides of Glencairn; 👃: Definitely spicy with strong vanilla notes; 👅: Vanilla on first taste, slight baking spices; 🏁: Light lingering taste (not bad at all), has a slight baking soda aftertaste, funkiness comes out at the end.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Sitting pretty with hues of pale rusty sunset orange, very thin legs; 👃: Strong hints of alcohol, oakiness, tannins; 👅: Alcohol hits you hard if you drink it the wrong way, HOLY SMOKES!!!, didn't really taste much else... 🏁: Fortunately the taste doesn't linger too long. THANKFULLY. It does leave an oily aftertaste that stays with you.

Let sit for ~5 minutes. 👀: Very pale gold, thick legs that dissipate quickly; 👃: Honey, pineapple vibes, hint of vanilla inviting you to take a sip... 👅: Fruitiness abounds (apples, stonefruit), pretty juicy, vanilla notes with lots of oakiness; 🏁: Not too lingering, has a bit of a menthol finish at the end, nutty finish.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Semi dark golden hues with thin legs, some tears remain up top; 👃: Sweet crisp apple on first nose, your typical Scotch with a little more strength; 👅: Interlocking notes of oakiness along with tangy sour gummies, sweetness abounds, vanilla at the back end; 🏁: Short finish with the same crisp bite you get when you first take that sip, you get hit with that oak bite, would be typical Scotch if not for that bite.
