(Let sit for about 5 minutes.) 👀: Deep, dark mahogany wood with heather tones (whatever all that means), at this high of an ABV there is hardly any surface tension; 👃: Extremely corn forward with sweet popcorn, alcohol burns my nose hairs, can smell the spiciness and peppery notes; 👅: Alcohol hits you immediately but subtly gives way to more pleasant kettle corn, very sweet is the theme; 🏁: Spiciness hits you first but doesn't linger, instead it lets you down slowly and comfortably, this is the happy ending that high proof whiskies should aspire to. Bravo! End note: I'm shocked that something this high proof didn't require me to put in a drop of water. Wow.

👀: Light amber-gold on the pour, thin, watery legs; 👃: Pungent, funky, dusty, the usual rye on the front end, spicy with baking spices, wafts of butterscotch, syrupy and thick like maple syrup; 👅: Immediate peppery hits along with nutmeg, gives way to the alcohol waft, oily on the palate; 🏁: Long finish that stays with you long after you finish your dram, a bit harsh on the back end, all that disappears and you end up with the funk.

(Let sit for about 5 minutes.) 👀: Pale red-gold at outset with tiny bubbles and thin, wispy legs; 👃: Thick, syrupy caramel corn notes, wisps of light smoke, sweet smell, baking spices at the end of the nose; 👅: Alcohol hits along with sweet and spicy notes, oily and thick like syrup; 🏁: Really sweet like sucking on a butterscotch candy, long finish and brown sugary at the back end, damn this is good!!!

👀: Very light ocher with thin legs, sparkling notes; 👃: The obvious Laphroaig notes, hits you with the band-aid smoke from the get-go and keeps on hitting, sea spray, iodine and peat smoke come at you with intensity (this is 54% ABV after all); 👅: The smoke continues on the palate and caresses the tongue all the way down, more smoke and alcohol carries itself up to the nasal areas and stays there, the smoke totally covers up the Scotch, beautiful yet smoky; 🏁: Long, lingering finish where you finally are able to taste the actual Scotch which was masked within a shroud, be careful of this one because though it's lingering, it doesn't taste very strong but remember it's 54% ABV.

👀: Golden Amber, very thin legs; 👃: Very typical scotch with barley and white chocolate notes, definitely a "Sherry Bomb" on the nose; 👅: Very smooth, subtle hints of toffee and chocolate, a whiff of smoke at the back end and slight bitterness; 🏁: Short finish with an oaky finish, does not linger and finishes very dry, typical scotch.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Dark hues of burnt caramel, thick legs that don't drip easily; 👃: Fruity and toffee notes intermingle at the outset, woody notes interspersed; 👅: Cinnamon spicy and creamy chocolate milk at the outset melding into baking spices; 🏁: Lingering finish with vanilla notes, spicy at the back end.

Let sit for about 5 minutes. 👀: Amber rosewood, lots of surface tension and sticks to Glencairn walls; 👃: Yeast notes abound followed by sweet corn notes, alcohol-prevalent, buttery toffee and candy butterscotch; 👅: Immediate hit of alcohol at the outset, melts away into an Andes Mint, minty at the back end with notes of baking spices; 🏁: Shortish finish with caramel notes to finish off, mint and spice carry you to the homeland.

Let sit for ~5 minutes. 👀: Pale dull gold with thick walls and tears and legs; 👃: Immediate notes of iodine, BBQ and grilled fruit, more muted than Laphroaig but more like Ardbeg; Fruit to BBQ ratio is about 50/50; 👅: Hot, spicy and BBQ, beautiful marriage of flavors, smoke hits you fast but gives way to dark chocolate and grilled peanut butter notes; 🏁: Short but lingering finish, fruity undertones come from underneath to the top and remain there, wisp of smoke hits you at the very end.

Let sit for ~5 minutes. 👀: Medium copper tones, thick legs abound, seems a bit oily; 👃: Strong honey scents with some oak influence, sweetness on the nose, raw cherry; 👅: Oak hits you in the face, tastes a bit like Robitussin, honey at the back end, remains sweet; 🏁: Sweet but short finish, smells better than it tastes.
