Vanilla on the nose, the taste of sweet almost carmeled appled and sweet fruit. This is an exceptionally smooth Islay with no bite to it.

Distinct oaky flavor dances on the tongue after sipping. It has a sharp bite that dissipates quickly leavinf a light aftertaste. Seasonal in my area so I would pick it up when available as this is a delicious example of a Japanese whisky offering that showcases what just the ingredients and wood can produce.
