Bard Cinder and Smoke Straight Bourbon Whiskey Aged 13 Years
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 21, 2022Great aged bourbon, a lower proof for barrel proof 13 yr aged but the flavours are there. Dark chocolate, vanilla, medium spice, leather, brown sugar. Good stuff. Don’t pay too much but $50-$75 is what i say where it falls in between. -

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 15, 2021 (edited April 28, 2021)This is overall a good sipping whiskey with complexity more than regular WR but as this whiskey is sold at 43.2% in the uk which is quite lower abv side of bourbon i hate to see this at 45£ price point . Its good not bad but i would prefer this at 45.2% like in usa . Why would u add more water to whiskey which already has enough water ????? Doesn’t make any sense , and charging £45 wtf not buying until its sold at 45.2% or priced low at £30-£35 . I don’t get it why bourbons are sold at lower abv in the uk ? There are lots of bourbon fans out here and i honestly hate buffalo trace which is sold adding more water at 40% whereas its sold 45% abv per bottle in the usa . I luv 100 proof n higher bourbons and i hate seeing bourbons sold at 40% to 43% . -

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 11, 2021 (edited June 13, 2021)I found this gem bit lately but hey i’m glad i found this and i’m happy about this. I always hated 40% version JD and never drank after i tasted it few time years ago but after listening to experts i tried this single barrel barrel proof version and this shocked me . This is surprisingly so so much good than 40% version . Its usually 4 to 6/8 years as i have done some research and this barrel proof version has so much flavour similar to barre proof elijah craig and stagg jr which are overpriced in most places . If i have to choose barrel proof american whiskey from £50 -£60 i’m gonna choose this JD barrel proof instead of ECBP or stagg or any weller and blanton . this is so fu***ng delicious . grab this whiskey guys before this gets priced higher . damn i’m fan of this barrel proof jd .55.0 GBP per Bottle -
Kentucky Owl 11 Year Rye (Batch #1)
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 9, 2021 (edited December 4, 2021)Lucky that i picked this batch 1 owl after this was released few years ago. This rye is 11 years old thats way longer than most ryes in market with age statement and good amount of proof which preserves those aromas and flavours which is not findable in other ryes. It is very pleasant on nose with notes of spices , oak , some butter and is complex . This rye feels delicious in mouth hitting every spot .its fuller , richer , sweet, spicy . Great rye i’ve tasted so far . I find this better than some thomas h handy releases . Would be great if price was somewhere around £100 - £120 .150.0 GBP per Bottle
