BLIND TASTING Nose: vanilla, rum, reminiscent of Cadenheads Strathclyde 29, cherry Taste: green grape, white wine, rich, sweet, reminiscent of glen grant or old pulteney, enjoyable. Drop of water opens it up nicely. Bourbon barrel I’d expect, maybe even Virgin oak. A little thin but overall nice

Nose: hints of rum Taste: semisweet, a bit hot, dusty/cereal. Not picking up on a lot of complex character. Feels young. Would guess sherry barrel influenced, maybe port. Reminds me of Virginia distillery American malt in port barrel. Last taste had wave of s’mores. So weird. Notes: caramel color

Nose: bourbon finish, vanilla, crisp, clean; hints of cherry, caramel, green apple, hard candy Taste: tangy, tart, green apple, dry wood, thin, bitter Notes: there’s something different or unique about this that I haven’t encountered. Suspect it could be younger or non Scottish. Maybe heavily charred.
