West Cork 10 Year Single Malt
Single Malt — Ireland
Reviewed January 22, 2019 (edited October 26, 2019)Nose and initial flavor burst is all green apple and pear with a touch of honeydew, honey, and marshmallow. The sharp tang from the copper is prevalent as well as a distinct minerality. It’s good but a little too tame. Water or ice would make this disappear.7.0 USD per PourKeegan's Grill -
Bottled 2015. Opened 1-15–2018. After being open for a year the flavor has taken a sharp decline. Hot Cinnamon and dill have taken over and the combination is off-putting. I really enjoyed this last year but Im afraid I’ve let it sit too long. The spice and ethanol ratio is unbalanced and kind of awful.
