Starts out lightly spiced smoky and an alchohol vapor that’s sharp and biting. Actually had to add a couple drops of water and it opened up flavors of raisins and unsweetened tea.

Sweet vanilla notes on the front that linger into identifiable Willett spice, but to me better than it’s cousins Rowan’s Creek or Noah’s Mill.

Sweet caramel and toffee quickly gives way to something less sweet, almost charred and leathery, but not unpleasant. Leaving behind the sweetness again, coming full circle to where it started. Was able to get at suggested retail price thanks to PLCB without a markup.

Characteristic Willett spice greets you up front with a buttery cinnamon stick finish. Nutty aftertaste. Agree with earlier comment that the nose has you thinking cheap swill, but the taste delivers something else entirely.

Just like the small batch, but so much more of it. Full round sweetness of cinnamon bun. Raisin brown sugar finish. Just like the small batch but a full bite and not a nibble.

Punches above its weight in flavor and fullness. Sweet cinnamon bun into mellow ginger snap with raisin or plum.

Raw nose into campfire pipe tobacco crusted in a bit of raw sugar. Ashy rye like finish

Rye spice cut with fruity sweetness that makes oh so drinkable. Revisited this review 5 months later and that original simple sentence really does capture it all.

Glazed donut, Dark chocolate, peaches. Bit of lingering heat

Dollar for dollar one of my favorites and it’s not that hard to find! Vanilla and orange spiciness followed by long linger of ginger snap.
