Well a little disappointing so far. My bottle has now been opened for 10 weeks now, 1 inch below neck pour, and tasting again as I write this review. Harsh alcohol burn with some funky flavors. Altogether my feeling is = Meh! I'll check in another month to see if things have toned down and mellowed out from oxidation.

I have to agree with Ralfy that with the bottle I have and after 6 weeks of the bottle being open after the neck pour this is good whisky! Especially for the price. Not amazeing but hmmmm good.

Raising slightly as the bottle open up. Its soso. Not very memorable but very drinkable. Just not much there to make me buy another bottle!

It took my bottle about 3 months before I started liking it and the alcohol burn toned down somewhat. I'm looking forward to see if it mellows out even more over time.

Compareing to the ARDBEG CORRYVRECKAN which I rated @ 4.5 I'll have to take off a quarter point. Both delicious but I put the Corry a better dram for my palate.

After 12 months open I like it more. Its very smooth with no alcohol burn but thats to be expected with the super low proof. Some good flavors and an easy drinker when your looking for that!

Im bringing it down a little as even though it's tasty and very smooth my bottle has a funky taste that I don't quite like.
