Honey, cinnamon, citrus. It’s a unique and delightful twist of flavor

Proof: 107.4 Nose: ethanol heat first, struggling to identify flavors but it’s coming off as complex. A touch of water brought out some honey sweetness and floral/herbal notes. Taste: struggled to pick out notes here but it tastes much like it smelled Finish: Nice lingering finish, less bite than I would have anticipated based on the nose I’m not a huge fan of rye but when I found this on the shelf I had to try it. First impression was meh, and definitely makes me question the expert’s 96 rating, but I’m interested to see how it changes as it sits a bit.

Nose: brown sugar, strong oak, hint of cherry Taste: Rich flavor, dark chocolate Finish: Nice long finish with some bite, rye spice lingers Very tasty bourbon but a high price tag knocks the rating down a hair,

Nose: oak, honey, apple, touch of smoke Taste: can’t parse out many specific flavors, the low proof is evident Finish: very short, dry, a bit of spice, Overall simple but pleasant, not worth the price but enjoyable for what it is

Very thin mouthfeel, weak taste, not impressed
